Fuori il nuovo singolo dei Kreky & The Asteroids, “Spotlights”, per Romolo Dischi.

“La città è un luogo alienante. C’è chi vive alla luce del sole, sotto lo sguardo di tutti, costantemente esposto, anche quando non vorrebbe.” ci racconta la band.

Come in un libro, ognuno di noi vive la sua trama: qualcuna sfocia in una guerra, alcune in rapporti di vario tipo, altre hanno addirittura un lieto fine.

Non è però necessario essere in prima linea, potremmo anche nasconderci.

Potremmo muoverci di notte, sui marciapiedi, sperando di non essere mai osservati.

Spotlights è il racconto di questo continuo tentativo di fuga.

La notte ti aiuta, finché non finisci sotto la luce di un lampione: una volta esposti e visibili, emerge ogni difetto, ogni errore.

Bio: Kreky & The Asteroids è un progetto nato a Roma nel 2018. Kreky è un cantautore e la band The Asteroids si chiama così perché l'ha deciso il chitarrista.

E' un progetto di matrice anglosassone, ed è proprio questo il motivo per cui è stato scelto il nome composto, visto che ha le sue radici nel roots rock statunitense, tra Ryan Adams, Jeff Buckley, Springsteen e i Counting Crows, ed è forse l'unico progetto di questo tipo in Italia.
Possono vantare d'aver suonato in quasi tutti i locali della capitale, partecipato a molti contest tra i quali Marmo Music Match - come finalisti - e vincitori di una delle serate di It's 2 U,

che li ha portati a condividere il palco del Largo Venue con i Dunk, band dei fratelli Giuradei/Pipitone/Ferrari.
Dopo aver rilasciato il singolo "Dust" e "Sunflower" sulle piattaforme in streaming e con relativi video live in studio su Youtube, pubblicano in premiere su Repubblica Roma il video di "Mistakes", con coreografia e scenografia scritta dalla Gorillaz Crew di Sonny Olumati.
Entrano in studio a fine 2018 - e ci restano per almeno un anno e mezzo - per registrare il primo disco, coinvolgendo ospiti eccezionali.
